Jennifer Northouse, Principal
With more than 10 years of professional search experience, Jennifer brings a foundation of valuable relationships and a large referral network to clients at Northstone. Working with a mix of energetic start-ups, successful mid-sized businesses and Fortune 100 companies affords Jennifer the nimbleness to think creatively and the specialized knowledge to serve clients in a wide range of industries such as manufacturing, health care, insurance, financial services, consulting/professional services, consumer products, and non-profit. She has led divisions to great success, all with the philosophy of leading by example.
Jennifer began her career path in public accounting and ultimately transitioned into a lead financial/technical role with a large auto parts manufacturer, where she implemented a company-wide Shared Service organization built within SAP. This experience has given her the ability to thoroughly understand a candidate’s technical background coupled with finding the right cultural fit.
Lauren Stone, Principal
Finding the perfect match for a client takes more than just expertise in search. When it comes to skills and experience, Lauren Stone calls on over a decade of success in recruiting, talent management and sales leadership. But she also leverages her innate ability to form partnerships with clients and her experience in other human capital fields. These relationships and Lauren’s fluency in a range of disciplines lead to a rich understanding of the client’s needs and, ultimately, strategic solutions to help fulfill each of their ever-changing needs.
Prior to launching Northstone with Jennifer Northouse, Lauren was Managing Director of the Chicago practice in one of the top 100 U.S. staffing companies. There she led the accounting and financial, technology, and administrative divisions. Also shaping her approach with clients and broadening her perspective, Lauren held positions in human resources and benefits consulting. She understands the diverse challenges and opportunities that exist for every size company to protect and develop their greatest asset—their people.
